ABOUT.ALEXA is an owner-managed designer boutique and concept store for international women's fashion in the heart of Dortmund. Founded and run by Alexandra Jander, ABOUT.ALEXA combines personally curated designer labels with individual advice and a shopping experience where style and personality are paramount.
Alexandra Jander built ABOUT.ALEXA out of her personal passion for fashion and styling. From the very beginning, her idea was not simply to offer as many collections as possible, but to create a selection that felt special and also worked in real life. This principle still shapes the selection of brands, the presentation in the store and the personal consultation today.
With a great sense of style, quality, materials and current developments, Alexandra Jander and her team put together an individual selection of international designers each season. These include Vivienne Westwood, Róhe, By Malene Birger, FREE CITY, Filippa K, GANNI, Dondup, TEURN Studios, Halfboy and other established and up-and-coming labels.
The aspiration is clear: Personality instead of mainstream, individuality instead of mass-produced goods. Many collections are deliberately selected in small quantities. This creates a range that changes regularly and leaves room for individual looks.
Personal advice is at the core of ABOUT.ALEXA. Alexandra Jander and her team help with the selection of cuts, materials, sizes and combinations and take the time to consider what really suits each personality and wardrobe. Upon request, customers can also book a personal
styling or personal shopping appointment.
