- 1 SCOPE
(1) The goods and services offered by ABOUT.ALEXA (hereinafter "we") are provided exclusively on the basis of the following terms and conditions.
(2) The ABOUT.ALEXA online shop can be accessed at www.aboutalexa.de and is exclusively for consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code).
(3) A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to either their commercial or independent professional activity.

- 3 CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
(1) The presentation of the goods on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.
(2) By clicking the "Buy Now" button during the ordering process, the customer makes a binding offer to ABOUT.ALEXA to conclude a purchase contract for the goods contained in the shopping cart. The confirmation of receipt of the order automatically follows after the order has been sent and does not yet constitute acceptance of the contract, but merely serves as information.
(3) ABOUT.ALEXA can accept the customer's offer by confirming the dispatch of the goods by e-mail or by delivering the goods within five working days. There is no obligation for ABOUT.ALEXA to accept the offer. For advance payments, the goods will only be dispatched after the full amount has been credited to our account.
(4) Should delivery of the ordered goods not be possible, for example because the corresponding goods are not available, ABOUT.ALEXA will refrain from accepting the offer. Any consideration already received will be refunded immediately.
(5) If a financing offer is made to the customer in addition to the purchase offer, the validity of the purchase contract is conditional on the financing being taken over by the financing company.
- 4 PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS

(3) Payment can be made by credit card, advance payment or Paypal. ABOUT.ALEXA reserves the right not to offer certain payment methods for each order and to refer to other payment methods.
- a) Advance payment method
If you choose to pay by advance payment, we will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation. Upon receipt of this information, the invoice amount must be transferred to our account within 5 days. If you are in default of payment, the purchase price shall bear interest at 5 percentage points above the base rate during the period of default. We reserve the right to prove and claim higher damages caused by default.
- b) Payment method Credit card, Paypal and Sofortüberweisung (instant bank transfer)
If you pay by credit card, Paypal, iDeal or Sofortüberweisung, your credit card, Paypal or bank account will be debited immediately upon completion of your order.
- 5 STORAGE OF THE CONTRACT TEXT
Your order data will be stored by us. You will receive an order confirmation including the data provided by e-mail. You can view your previous orders in the "My Account" area under "Orders" if you have registered as a customer and logged in to the website with your access data.
- 6 RETENTION OF TITLE
The goods remain the property of ABOUT.ALEXA until full payment of the purchase price. Pledging, transfer of ownership by way of security, processing or alteration is not permitted without our consent before ownership has passed.
- 7 CANCELLATION
(1) Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the sample withdrawal form enclosed with the delivery, which is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Further information on the return process can be found in our cancellation policy.
CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL
If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. We bear the costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.
(2) The right of withdrawal does not apply
- for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer, for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would quickly be exceeded,
- for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery,
- for the delivery of goods if these have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature.

(3) Please avoid damage and contamination. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use additional protective packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging to avoid claims for damages due to damage resulting from inadequate packaging.
(4) Please note that the recommendations mentioned in paragraph (3) are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
- Return
2.1 We ask our customers to bear the shipping costs for returns.
2.2 Goods are to be returned exclusively with the shipping service provider through which the package was delivered.
2.3 Please note that we can only accept returns from the respective delivery country. For example, if the delivery was to Austria, the return can only be initiated from Austria.
2.4 In the event of a return, a credit will be issued to your account/card; any losses due to currency fluctuations will not be reimbursed.

- 9 DELIVERY
(1) Within Germany, it is possible to process shipping via DHL.
(2) If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please complain about such defects immediately to the delivery agent and contact us as soon as possible.
(3) Failure to complain or make contact has no consequences for your statutory warranty rights. However, it helps us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance.
- 10 WARRANTY
The statutory warranty rights apply to the articles offered in our online shop.
- 11 APPLICABLE LAW AND FINAL PROVISIONS
German law applies exclusively to the contract. UN sales law does not apply. Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain valid. The relevant statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision
