- 1 SCOPE
(1) The goods and services offered by ABOUT.ALEXA (hereinafter "we") are provided exclusively on the basis of the following terms and conditions.
(2) The ABOUT.ALEXA online shop can be accessed at www.aboutalexa.de and is aimed exclusively at consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
(3) A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor their self-employed professional activity.

- 3 CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
(1) The presentation of goods on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer to conclude a sales contract.
(2) By clicking the "Buy Now" button during the ordering process, the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a sales contract for the goods contained in the shopping cart to ABOUT.ALEXA. Confirmation of receipt of the order follows automatically after the order is sent and does not constitute acceptance of the contract, but merely serves as information.
(3) ABOUT.ALEXA can accept the customer's offer by confirming the shipment of the goods by e-mail or by delivering the goods within five working days. There is no obligation for ABOUT.ALEXA to accept the offer. In the case of advance payment, the goods will only be dispatched after the full amount has been credited to our account.
(4) Should delivery of the ordered goods not be possible, for example because the corresponding goods are not available, ABOUT.ALEXA will refrain from issuing an acceptance declaration. Any consideration already received will be refunded immediately.
(5) If a financing offer is submitted to the customer in addition to the purchase offer, the validity of the sales contract is subject to the condition that the financing is assumed by the financing company.
- 4 PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS
(1) The prices stated on the product pages include the statutory value-added tax.
(2) In addition to the stated prices, shipping costs may apply, which you can find on the page with the current shipping costs.
(3) Payment can be made by credit card, advance payment, or PayPal. For every order, ABOUT.ALEXA reserves the right not to offer certain payment methods and to refer to other payment methods.
- a) Advance payment method
For payments by advance payment, we will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation. Upon receipt of this information, the invoice amount must be transferred to our account within 5 days. If you are in default of payment, interest shall be charged on the purchase price at 5 percentage points above the base interest rate during the period of default. We reserve the right to prove and claim higher damages for delay.
- b) Payment method credit card, PayPal and instant bank transfer
When paying by credit card, PayPal, iDeal, or instant bank transfer, your credit card, PayPal, or bank account will be charged immediately upon completion of your order.

Your order data is stored by us. You will receive an order confirmation including the stated data via e-mail. You can view your previous orders in the "My Account" area under "Orders" if you have registered as a customer and logged into the website with your access data.
The goods remain the property of ABOUT.ALEXA until full payment of the purchase price. Before the transfer of ownership, pledging, security transfer, processing, or modification is not permitted without our consent.
(1) Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods. by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax, or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the model withdrawal form attached to the delivery, which is, however, not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Further information on the return process can be found in our cancellation policy.
CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. We bear the costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.
(2) The right of withdrawal does not exist
(3) Please avoid damage and contamination. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective packaging. If you no longer possess the original packaging, please ensure sufficient protection against transport damage with suitable packaging in order to avoid claims for damages due to damage caused by improper packaging.
(4) Please note that the recommendations mentioned in paragraph (3) are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
2.1 We ask our customers to bear the shipping costs incurred for the return.
2.2 Returns must be made exclusively with the shipping service provider via which the package was delivered.
2.3 Please note that we can only accept returns from the respective country of delivery. For example, if the delivery was made to Austria, the return must also be initiated from Austria.
2.4 In the event of a return, a credit will be issued to your account/card; any losses due to currency fluctuations will not be refunded.

(1) Within Germany, it is possible to process shipping via DHL.
(2) If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such errors immediately to the deliverer and please contact us as soon as possible.
(3) Failure to file a complaint or contact us has no consequences for your statutory warranty rights. However, it helps us to assert our own claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.
The statutory warranty rights apply to the items offered in our online shop.
German law applies exclusively to the contract. The UN Sales Convention does not apply. If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain in effect. The relevant statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
