Cashmere is the fine undercoat of the cashmere goat – about six times thinner than human hair and therefore exceptionally light, soft, and warm. At ABOUT.ALEXA in Dortmund, you will find a curated selection of designer women's fashion made from cashmere: sweaters and cardigans from KUJTEN, Koon Cachemire, Arch4, and Ladneri, plus hats, scarves, gloves, and socks to complete the look.

A good cashmere sweater is an investment for many years. The length of the fibers and the fineness of the yarn are crucial: long fibers pill significantly less and retain their shape. Wash cashmere by hand or on the wool cycle at 30 degrees, dry it lying flat, and store it folded rather than on a hanger – this way, the fit will be maintained for years.
