Éterne

The essentials in brief

• Öterne stands for soft basics that you wear every day without having to rethink them every day.
• Available from 27 to 533 euros, from briefs to fine-knit tops.
• The focus is on long-sleeve shirts, tops, and lingerie in muted tones.

Öterne makes the pieces that go under everything else, yet make all the difference. Soft jersey qualities that hold their shape. We carry this line because it fills a gap: good basics are harder to find than good statement pieces.

What we carry

Long-sleeve shirts and tops make up the majority. The fitted crewneck is available with short and long sleeves, in black, chocolate, and moss. In addition, there are tank tops, blouses, and select trousers and skirts.

The second focus is lingerie. Bodysuits, briefs, and thongs in the same calm color palette. Both work well together, which is rare.

Sizes and fit

The pieces have a close-to-the-body fit. This is intentional because they are designed for layering. If you prefer a looser fit, take one size larger. For the long-sleeve shirts, it is worth trying them on, as the sleeves are cut longer than usual.

How to style them

A fitted crewneck under an open blazer, paired with wide-leg trousers. This is the look these pieces were made for. If you need more warmth, layer a cashmere sweater over it.

Our tops, trousers, and lingerie go perfectly with this.

Try them on in store

We carry Öterne at Brauhausstraße 3-5 in Dortmund. With basics in particular, the material is the deciding factor, and you can only tell when you touch them.
