What kind of brand is Gestuz?

Gestuz is a Danish fashion label from Copenhagen. It was founded in 2008 by designer Sanne Sehested. She describes the brand as Danish DNA with a rock 'n' roll attitude: vintage influences from the 80s and 90s, oversized blazers paired with chunky boots—feminine and masculine at the same time.

Is Gestuz a luxury brand?

No. Gestuz is contemporary fashion, priced significantly higher than high-street fashion and significantly lower than classic designer labels. Our pieces range between 50 and 430 euros.

Tailoring

The Paula Blazer in Dark Timberwolf features an oversized cut with structured shoulders and forms a suit with the Paula Straight Pant. From the same line, there is the Paula Wide Pant in Mole with a wide leg and pressed creases. If you are looking for color, choose the Olivia Military Blazer in Olive with classic lapels and a single-button closure.

Knitwear

The Alpha Cardigan in Ganache Melange has a loose fit and broad shoulders. The Debbie Cardigan in Ganache Melange, with its crew neck, button placket, and hip-length fit, is slightly more classic.

Jackets and dresses

The Roa is available as a short puffer jacket and a long quilted jacket, both with a boxy cut, hood, and down filling. For the evening, the Lalou Slip Dress in Military Olive with lace trim and an asymmetrical hem is a perfect choice.

How does Gestuz fit?

Many Gestuz pieces are intentionally cut wide: oversized blazers, loose-fit cardigans, and the Gilsa Sweat T-Shirt, which is boxy with dropped shoulders. However, there are also form-fitting models like the Ninia turtleneck. Because this varies greatly depending on the style, it is worth trying them on in our store.
