With around 60 pieces, IRO Paris is one of the largest collections at ABOUT.ALEXA – and one of the most versatile. From leather jackets to tweed blazers, almost everything a wardrobe needs can be found here.
Why IRO Paris is at ABOUT.ALEXA
With every brand, I ask myself: Does it have its own signature style? With IRO, it's unmistakable – that mix of Parisian nonchalance and an edge that prevents a look from becoming too demure.
What I particularly appreciate about the label: It works on both sides of the wardrobe. An IRO leather jacket turns jeans and a shirt into a complete outfit. An IRO blazer goes straight to the office. Both carry the same signature without looking uniform.
And it matters that I can combine it. I think in styles, not individual pieces – IRO provides both the statement pieces and the subtle basics for that.
The Selection at ABOUT.ALEXA
Around 60 pieces between €51 and €1,437. The focus areas:
-
Jackets – the heart of the brand. From denim and tweed jackets starting at €192 to the Delta and Verona lambskin models.
-
Blazers from €495 to €625 – including the Kelio in Mixed Brown Check, the Kamea in Dark Grey Pinstripes, and the Sunrise in Brown Terra. Wool and wool blends, no compromises on fabric.
-
Trousers – with thirteen models, our deepest segment of the brand, starting at €117.
-
Tops, Shirts, and Dresses starting at €51 as basic underlayers.
One piece I particularly like: the Simone in grey-white – a bouclé model that has the charm of a classic tweed jacket without looking old-fashioned.
How I Combine IRO Paris
The leather jacket is the piece that works hardest for itself. A fine shirt underneath, paired with well-fitting trousers – done. That's exactly why the investment here is worthwhile: You wear it for years and with almost anything.
The blazers go the other way. Kelio and Kamea already have a pattern with their checks and pinstripes, so the rest remains simple: plain trousers, a simple top. For those who prefer it softer, wear the bouclé Simone with denim – that's the relaxed version of the same principle.
For jackets and blazers, the fit at the shoulder is everything. Feel free to visit us in Dortmund or book a personal styling appointment.
